Center for Star and Planet Formation meetings every Thursday from 12:30 to
2 p.m. in the IfA-Manoa Auditorium with video link to IfA-Hilo, room M131. Those

VISITING MAUNA KEA
The Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station
at Hale Pohaku (9,300-foot level of Mauna Kea) is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 noon, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday,
hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Center hosts public stargazing nightly and summit tours on Saturdays and Sundays. Before visiting Mauna Kea, please call (808) 961-2180 or go to the Visitor Information Station Web site.
"The Universe Tonight" features recent observations and discoveries,
6:00 p.m., first Saturday of every month at Onizuka Center for International
Astronomy.
"Malalo I Ka Lani Po" features cultural aspects of Mauna Kea, 6:00
p.m., third Saturday of every month at Onizuka Center. |
