VISITING MAUNA KEA
The Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station (VIS) at Hale Pōhaku (9,300-foot level of Mauna Kea) is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Public stargazing nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Escorted summit tours begin at the VIS at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Read this before going.
